Mandatory Workplace Safety Standards for reopening:

All persons, including employees, customers, should remain at least 6 feet apart or to the greatest extent possible, except for when staff are directly providing client services.
All clients must wear a cloth face covering, or face mask, that covers the nose and mouth at all times while at A-Z Physical Therapy & Wellness.
All staff must wear a cloth face covering, or face mask, that covers the nose and mouth and gloves at all times when within the clinic.
We limit our waiting room to 2 chairs, placed 6 feet apart.
We limit in-person visits, only 2 clients may be present in the treatment area and remain at least 6 feet (2 m) apart.
Patients must be scheduled by appointment; no walk-ins.
Patients should wait in their vehicle when possible, or wait in a safe location outside until appointment time or service provider is available.
Ample time will be allocated between clients in order to complete required sanitation procedures.
Please Wash Hands in the bathroom or upon entering the clinic when leaving.
Do so with the hand soap provided, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with warm water, and avoid touching door knobs.
The front door (directly to the clinic) will be kept open.
If you need to cough or sneeze do so into your elbow, avoid touching your face, and disinfect surfaces frequently, especially those that you come into contact with frequently.
All equipment and workstations that our patients and employees have come into contact with and between every client will be sanitized.
Please only place your belongings on the hooks and nowhere else as we will be sanitizing it after each client.
Staffing and Operations
Each Staff of A-Z Physical Therapy & Wellness has been trained and will carry-out all safety guidelines provided here.
Employees of A-Z Physical Therapy & Wellness who are displaying COVID-19-like symptoms do not report to work. They will call out immediately at sign of any COVID-19-like symptoms, such as:
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
Employees with COVID-19-like symptoms, will immediately call out and self isolate. Immediately, we will disinfect with proper & effective solutions the entire office. A-Z Physical Therapy & Wellness will also alert past patients (those within 3 weeks) of this employee, and suggest to be vigilant & recommend self isolation. Employees will need to get the necessary consecutive amount of negative-covid test results and doctor’s permission in order to return back to work.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
All equipment, surfaces including treatment bed, treatment room chairs, exercise equipment and waiting room chairs, pens and doors will be disinfected. Air purifier will be turned on at all times.
Disinfection of all common surfaces will take place between every client in addition the building cleaning staff has taken extra measures to disinfect all common areas more vigilantly and frequently.
